Money Advice
December can be an expensive month, and many of us can start to feel a bit worried about money. If you feel like you need some help, here are a few places you can turn to:
Support from Stonewater
Whether we can help you directly or put you in touch with one of our charity partners, we’re ready to listen.
Find out all the ways we can help and how you can get in touch just here:
Get winter ready
In our last edition, we shared with you some advice for getting ahead of the colder weather including checking your boiler, drying clothes indoors and making use of your extractor fans.
Warm spaces
We’ve been running our own Warm Hubs so our customers can turn their heating off and stay toasty while getting to know a bit more about one another. If you live in a Retirement Living property, then speak to your scheme coordinator for more information.
You can also find out some other places that are offering this service through Warm Welcome.
Social broadband tariffs
If you’re on Universal Credit, Pension Credit or some other benefits, you may be able to get a discount on your broadband with some providers.
If you’re out of contract or your contract is coming to an end, it may be worth taking a look to see if you’re eligible.
Energy Saving Trust
This website is packed full of advice and hacks to help you make the most of your home energy.
