Herefordshire customers go back to their roots to support festival
Retirement Living customers in Herefordshire have been getting in touch with nature to support an arts festival in Leominster.
Customers from schemes across the area were asked to have their picture taken with a tree growing near their home as part of a wellbeing project that formed a key part of the Leominster Roars festival that celebrates the stories and people of the town.
The photos taken of our customers were featured in a special ‘family tree’ film which was projected onto a building in Leominster town centre during the festival.
Charlene Barnett, Wellbeing and Community Connector and Katharine Simpson, Scheme Coordinator at Stonewater, said: “It was such a lovely project to get our customers involved with. On Wednesday 22nd November they were able to go and see the images taken for themselves and felt very proud to be part of what was a great ‘Light up Festival’ for the town they live in.”
Take a look at the photos below to see what our customers came up with.
