Meet, match, move!
Last month, we held a fantastic mutual exchange match-making event!
On the evening of Wednesday 14th May, customers from Stonewater and Orbit Housing met at Tanyard Farm Community Centre in Coventry to explore the possibilities of swapping homes and finding their perfect match through mutual exchange.
A mutual exchange is when you swap your home with another social housing tenant – it’s a great way to move to a new area, find a home that better suits your needs, or be closer to work, family or schools.
A total of 28 Stonewater and Orbit customers joined us to:
- Meet others interested in home swaps.
- Learn more about how mutual exchanges work.
- Chat with our team and get answers to their questions.
With refreshments on hand and plenty of great conversations, we had a wonderful evening!
Several Stonewater and Orbit team members came along to support, including Catherine Preece, Performance and Delivery Manager (Tenancy), who said,
“It was a fabulous event that was well attended, it was great to meet so many people and discuss their moving options with them.”
We were thrilled to see so many positive connections being made.
