Community days are back!
We’ll be visiting your neighbourhoods this summer to hear directly from you about your home, our services and your community.
Last year, we organised 10 community days across the country, where staff from across our teams visited to speak directly with you.
These events gave us the opportunity to meet and speak directly with you and gather feedback, ideas and recommendations to improve your local community alongside the services we already deliver.
From these events, we received many great suggestions from customers and worked hard to make them a reality. Some of these included:
- A new bin store (including new fencing, signage and gate) at Marton Heights to combat misuse of the bin store and fly-tipping issues.
- New parking signage, fly-tipping signage and notice boards at Marton Heights.
- Litter pickers for community litter picks at High Trees, Reading.
- New signage for Harbour Court, Poole.
- Food Waste bins launched at Newlands Place, Bracknell.
- Parking spaces white lined at May Court.
- Chalkboards at High Trees and Imperial Mews.
We were also joined by some of our partners and contractors who were able to answer questions and help with issues.
This summer, we’ll be back!
