What our Inclusion Group have been up to recently
The Inclusion Group is a group of Stonewater customers who work together to make sure services are fair, welcoming and accessible to everyone, no matter their background.
They share their experiences and give feedback to help every customer’s voice be heard.
Over the past year, they’ve met regularly and helped review lots of policies, documents and communications to make them clearer and more inclusive. They’ve also discussed ways to improve services, worked with other groups and taken part in workshops to shape future plans.
The group plays an important role in helping us to deliver accessible and inclusive services for all of our customers.
The Inclusion group recently reviewed and shared their thoughts on our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Policy to make sure it's fair and inclusive. Based on their feedback, we're now creating an easy-to-read, more accessible version to make sure that all our customers feel informed.
In December, they also took part in a workshop led by Trevor, Scrutiny Chair, as part of a review of engagement in Retirement Living. Their ideas helped make sure that customers’ views are at the heart of how we involve people.
