Community Days
Listening to customer feedback and discussing improvement ideas is a priority for us.
Last summer, we organised 10 community days across the country, where staff from across our teams visited schemes to speak directly with you.
These events gave us the opportunity to meet and speak directly with you and gather feedback, ideas and recommendations to improve your local community alongside the services we already deliver.
We were also joined by some of our partners and contractors who were able to answer questions and help with issues.

We received many great suggestions from our customers and worked to make them a reality.
Some of these include:
- A new bin store at Marton Heights to combat misuse of the bin store and fly-tipping issues. Existing fencing on the store will be replaced with metal wire fencing to increase visibility, dedicated areas will be given to different bin types and new signage, and a lockable gate will be added.
- New parking signage, fly-tipping signage and notice boards at Marton Heights.
- Litter pickers for community litter picks at High Trees, Reading.
- New signage for Harbour Court, Poole.
- Food Waste bins launched at Newlands Place, Bracknell.
- Parking spaces white lined at May Court.
We received really positive feedback from colleagues and customers following these community days and look forward to holding more community days again this summer – we will share more information on this soon, so stay tuned!
