Welcome to our autumn edition of Here to Help.

As the days grow shorter and turn a bit chillier after a lovely summer, it’s a great time to pause and reflect on everything that’s been happening across Stonewater and our communities – there’s a lot to share!

We’re excited to publish our Customer Annual Review 2024-25, which is packed full of lots of brilliant stories and real experiences from customers, colleagues and communities. It highlights the improvements we’ve made to our services over the past year – many of which have been directly driven by customer feedback – as well as the lessons we’ve learned so we can keep getting better. If you haven’t already, I’d really encourage you to have a read.

Speaking of feedback, we’ve hosted lots of community days over the summer at schemes across the country. Despite some unpredictable weather, turnout was fantastic! Thank you to everyone who came along. These events – which also involve our partners and contractors - are so valuable, giving us a chance to hear directly about what matters most to you. We’ve already made some changes based on what we've heard and you can read more about these in this newsletter.

A huge thanks as well to everyone who completed our recent customer census. Your responses help us understand your needs and shape the way we deliver your services. Your voice really does make a difference.

Finally, we were really pleased to achieve our highest ever Gold rating in this year’s SHIFT Awards, the housing sector’s sustainability accreditation, which assesses our environmental performance across things like carbon emissions, energy efficiency, water management, waste reduction and climate change resilience. It all contributes to our goal of creating warm affordable homes and thriving, sustainable communities.
